(Hello I write fast and I let god take the wheel so ignore typos or nonsense grammar because I just let it flow and go).
I wonder how many problems, addictions, wounds, divorces, and world wars have occurred simply because humans are conditioned to look outside of themselves for the answer. For love. For approval. For joy and fulfillment.
I wonder how many pieces of luggage have been damaged and lost because someone hates what the physical world reflects back to them about themselves.
And mostly, I wonder how many cures, miraculous healings, and transformations have taken place because of the opposite:
To fundamentally understand and embody the truth that you are absolutely whole and enough and made of LITERAL STAR DUST FOR CHRIST SAKE!
Relationships fall apart under the guise of “You keep doing this to me!” and “Why can’t you just change!”
Friendships melt into the past as we point fingers and let ourselves be run by the programs of our mind that say someone and something else is responsible for my peace and purpose.
This is our biggest scam.
The biggest lie you were ever sold is that someone or something will complete you. The surprise is that when you venture to complete yourself, every other relationship steps into congruence with Oneness and harmony.
The day I decided that I was enough was the day my outer world reflected it back to me.
Corporations make money off of your tethered soul. The government wants you to ask for permission.
We are born and we immediately forget. We don’t receive the vital reminder until it’s years later and you’re staring straight into the mirror of yourself and everything you’ve ever created without knowing it.
It has always been you. Because do you know what you are? Have you ever asked the fundamental question of
“WHO AM I?” until you lose all your words and grammar and ability to structure sentences?
I highly recommend you do. Because on the other side of this question is the revelation of such cosmic importance that you will literally jolt into a different existence.
You will rip your confining clothes off, shave your head, scream into the stars, and run as fast as you can toward the heavens because YOU ARE IT.
You will let your old Self die and become reborn. You will not allow any one or any thing to determine who or what you are. You will not look to your lover for approval. You will not ask if you look pretty or if you should start working on your dream project.
You will exist with such audacity that the onlookers still stuck in their 3D meat suits will not even know what to say or do. You will shake the thin fabric of society that operates on this forgetting of who we are.
Unfortunately, Instagram stole the juiciness from the idea of loving yourself. It’s too mainstream now to make a punch. Instead, I offer this:
Accept every bright, dark, disgusting, muddy, messy, wonderful, tired, angry, perfect part of who you are. Sit by a riverbed and say “I am you and you are me.”
MAKE love with your eyes as you ponder the galaxy. Dare to be TOO MUCH and TOO EXCITED. Be outrageously curious about every inch of your soul because every inch you discover is another mile of the Universe uncovered and remembered.
Go above and beyond. Break the rules and entanglements you’ve created for yourself and let go of any identity that feels too small and chokes your essence down to a palatable one-liner.
Disregard anything and everything that does not make you want to climb Mount Everest just for another taste and welcome in all the things that make you feel motherfucking alive.
That is who you are. It’s not as simple as “love yourself.” It’s so much more and so much less:
Be the entirety of who you are and more. And as you go along, keep looking inside of yourself for the answer because spoiler alert:
What is inside is what is outside and what is outside is what is inside and on and on goes the loop of your existence being Universal consciousness experiencing itself over and over for the infinitude of time.
You are everything and more. Now go prove it to yourself.
Thanks for reading!!! This one came straight out of nowhere and felt so good to write. I haven’t published on Substack in a while so I hope you enjoy this. More to come.
Love,
