This essay is about shadows and their true nature. It also includes wisdom about the 63rd and 64th Gene Keys (Shadows of Doubt & Confusion). Shadows show us that we are about to break through. The mechanics of a shadow imply that there is light trying to shine, but an object is distorting it, therefor creating the presence of a shadow. For a shadow to form beside a tree, there must be light from the sun shining upon said tree.
Your shadows exist because there is already presence of Light. To move from shadow to light simply takes a change in perspective followed by a change in position. You may sit in the shadow of a tree, enjoying how it feels to cool off from the sun, and then decide that it’s time to let the sun’s rays shine upon you once again.
This is what takes place within your own psyche. Your shadows come up to prove to you that there is Light inherent in your being. And not only is that Light inherent, but once the shadow is seen, that light is ready to shine through. Your shadow is ready to turn into a gift.
Take gifts 63 & 64 in Gene Keys. Their shadow frequencies are doubt and confusion, respectively. Humanity struggles a great deal when in doubt and confusion, not because these energies are innately problematic (as is true with all shadows — none are inherently bad or wrong), but because a fear or resistance is present in humanity’s experience. Doubt and Confusion are the seeds of Truth and Illumination. In your own life, they are the raw material for discovering your personal highest truth and to be so imaginative that you become a walking embodiment of the Light.
With every flavor of shadow that you may find yourself in, there is a higher truth ready to be revealed from within that shadow. And as such, your gifts do not depend on the elimination of your shadows, but rather on the illumination of them. This illumination comes through your heart. It comes through your acceptance and embrace of all parts of you.
Your shadows are the raw material for your gifts. Change your perspective, move your position in time and space, and watch as you unfold what was already there, deep in your being. Deep in your DNA.
This is what the human journey is about. It’s taking the raw materials in front of us and transforming them into magic. Through that alchemical process, we remember and reveal the divinity that was always there. As you embody the alchemist who can take shadows, pour light into them, and emerge as a more radiant being, your life becomes align with your true nature: infinite, magical, flowing, beautiful, abundant.
Challenges are not a problem. They provide the spark for your soul to be set on fire. And as you hold this belief that nothing is wrong with you, nothing is a “problem” in you, then you will naturally hold more and more Light — enacting the codes for your DNA that hold Genius.
